At the Canadian Youth Academy of Sciences (CYAS), our
projects inspire young people to explore science, technology, engineering,
mathematics, and artificial intelligence (STEM+AI) through engaging, hands-on
learning experiences. We encourage participants to investigate scientific
questions, develop practical skills, and apply their knowledge to solve
real-world challenges.
Our projects include research experiences, workshops,
innovation challenges, science competitions, community outreach, and
interdisciplinary collaborations that promote scientific inquiry, creativity,
critical thinking, and problem-solving. Guided by dedicated educators,
researchers, industry professionals, and volunteers, participants gain valuable
mentorship while strengthening their technical, communication, teamwork, and
leadership skills.
